Class of 2005

Ahh 2005. what can I say about it? It was the best of years, it was the worst of years. Ok so 2005 was my ONLY year. But most of all 2005 was the year of the baby! Not just cuz your truly first saw the light of day on May 12 at 11:13 pm ( hmm light of day at 11:13 pm?!?) No it's due to all the babies born this year. As time runs out I have wishes for all them Like **cough** "little" Savannah born right on St Patty's day. I wish all the best in daddy's new ventures. Or Samuel who just couldn't wait to come out. I wish for you patience, so you can realize how incredible your parents' love is for you. Then there's cousin Peyton, who proved you don't need doctors to deliver a baby, or nurses, or even a hospital. Just pull over and let mommy do the job. I wish that you come to Texas so we can meet! And then there's Elena. Uhh just a tip kiddo you might not want to upstage Uncle Scott and your brother on their birthdays. I wish for you to understand your uniquness even when you have to share. Next, of course, is Rebecca, the tax break-baby. Seriously, ummm, how's your dad's changing ability coming along. I wish that you are a heavy sleeper, so you won't disturb my nap. Finally, my blogosphere compadre Keira. You don't scare us like that ever again. I wish for you perfect health. Actually, I wish health for ALL the babies of 2005. And for the parents I wish good luck. Cuz by this time next year we'll be walking and talking! Au Revoir 2005 HAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPYY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

Where's the cold weather?

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't this December? Doesn't that mean it is supposed to be cold? OK, I got this really nifty new coat to go with my new shirt and pants from my Great Grandma S (thanks, GGS), and it's going to be 75 degrees here today and too warm to show it off. What's a girl to do? Do I dress for what the weather is supposed to be like, or do I dress for what the weather really is? Decisions, decisions. Well, really Mommy makes those decisions for me right now, but someday I'll make my own, so I've got to think ahead.

So Many Good Things to Eat

Here I am lying on the rug Daddy made me and the blanket Grandma S. quilted for me. I was trying to take a bite out of Mommy's knee. I just wanted her to feed me. And boy did she. In the last few days I've eaten duck, carrots, turkey, sweet potato, prunes, and a little bit of homemade whole wheat bread. Yummy Yummy in my Tummy. Later I will show you the fabulous clothes and toys I received. Thanks everyone!

Christmas!!!

WOW! I Mean WOW. Why didn't you people tell me Christmas was this great. I mean last night Mommy and Daddy gave me a present. Just one for Christmas Eve they told me. It was a nativity set with the baby Jesus and Mary and Joseph. Daddy put it in the manger scene that he built all himself ( well with some help from Grandpa M). They Mommy got all beautiful and we went to the church with Grandma and Grandpa S. But it wasn't like normal church. It was all decked out in evergreen and lit up with candles (mmmm fire). And the pastor told the whole story of Christmas, the original story. Then I went home and peed on mommy. ALL over Mommy, but I digress. After a long night of waiting and getting up and peeing ...twice, I awoke to presents under the tree.... for ME. I don't know what I did to deserve it all. I opened one from Aunt Cindy. Boy does she know what I like -- chewy toys! I also got a savings bond from Uncle Mike. We are taking the rest to Grandpa S's. I hope they aren't more gifts there, I don't know if I can take any more excitement.... hehe.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVRYONE!

The Pig, the Mommy and the Changing table

Wow! you won't believe this story cuz it involves talking animals. I know, hard to believe but true. You see it all started innocent enough as I was getting my diaper changed on the changing table whenall of a sudden I was whisked away to a magical land where the animals talked! I ran into my new friend Mr. Oinkers and he told me all about his family. Apparently someone went to the market, someone didn't , someone had roast beef, someone else did not and finally the littlest pig ran ALLLLLthe way home. Well I was enjoying the stories but mommy, you know who mommy is, whisked me away from the magical land of the changing table. Perhaps someday I can return...

Daddy Note: Any resemblence to the works of C.S. Lewis is purely coincidental.

What a Big Girl!

Back to the ladies' luncheon--I showed the Grandmas what a big girl I am getting to be. I can actually hold my own bottle now, and I'll bet Mom really likes that! I know I sure do.

It's all about control, folks. I think I'm going to like controlling what I do--I wonder if Mom and Dad will.

New Song

All I want for Christmas is my one front tooth
my one front tooth
See my one front tooth.

All I need for Christmas is my one front tooth

Then I could wish you Merry Christmas!

Seriously Santa, this teething is getting the best of me. I thought I was done when the 1st one came in. I hope there aren't any past these 4...

Daddy Note-- You can click on the photo to get a close-up of Victoria and her teeth.

Ladies Lunch

Yesterday all the ladies went to lunch. I liked it because I got to eat my very first lemon. I also got to wear my new jacket, isn't the hood nifty! However, the waitress messed up two orders. The grandmas won in the end though because they got two free pieces of cheesecake. I didn't get any of that. :(

Today all the grandparents watched me while Mommy and Daddy went to Mass. Grandma M. made a lovely end of Advent dinner. I enjoyed my cracker, peas, and prunes. I also liked playing with Mortimer. He whines alot though. He just wants to eat people food, like me.

Just Hanging Out

Well folks, I've had a busy couple of days. Yesterday I out to eat for lunch with the Grandparents (Grandpa S. had to work) and then for dinner we met Mr. Carl and Mrs. Renee at Rudy's. Grandpa M. sure loves that restaurant.

Today wasn't so great. I was very grumpy when Mommy woke me up. Why didn't she want to play at 4 a.m, like I wanted to. Then we had to go to the doctor's office. I loved watching all the kids who could walk in the waiting room! However, then I had to have a flu shot. Yuck. I'm feeling a bit better now.

Tomorrow, the ladies are having a day of beauty. It sounds like fun; I will tell you all about it.

New Food

I was having a little trouble going, well you know. I hadn't since Saturday at lunch and Mommy decided to break out the prunes. I really enjoyed them as you can see by the evidence on my hands, pants, and face. I got some on the walls, my highchair, and Mommy also. But it worked! I was so disappointed when they were all gone and I want to eat more soon.

Santa's on his way

Ok,OK,

You're not going to believe this one. I met this guy Saturday night; He's a big guy with a long beard and wears a lot of red. Check out his outfit. But's that's not the unbelieveable part. No, the unbelievable part is if you ask this guy he will bring you toys and candy. Of course there is a catch. He only comes one night a year. And only if you been good all year. I've been good. Well, despite pouring water on daddy, biting mommy's arm, opening daddy's dresser drawers, and trying to grab food off of mommy's plate, I've been good. Anyway, I took a picture with the jolly old guy. Whaddya think? Looks like a pretty cool dude to me. Peyton and Keira you be good and I'll put in a word for you. Till next time faithful readers...

Workin' My Pants Off

Wow! This crawling stuff is really hard work! I have this great toy I usually play with in the tub (the same one I gave Daddy a bath with ), but I didn't want to give it up when Grandma M and Grandma S gave me my bath tonight, so they let me chew on it some more. I like it so much I'll even show off my new crawl for it, but geesh, they could have at least given me a belt. When Grandma S put my cup in front of me (about a yard) I made a straight bee-line for it, but my pants kind of were getting left behind. OK, Santa, add a belt to my list!

More Please

Mommy snapped this picture after I had eaten almost a whole jar of squash. I haven't been hungry recently, so she was happy I was finally wanting to eat again. I told her I just want pizza and french fries instead.

Oh yeah. Happy belated birthday Mommy. We are going out tomorrow with all my Grandparents, my Aunt Breana and Uncle Matthew, and Miss Marta also.

Hopefull, it will be cold a long long time so I can wear that hat again and again. Plus mommy gives me extra hugs to keep warm. I wish it would always be cold :) Stay warm folks get your mommy to hug ya!

Woot, my Longhorns beat those silly buffaloes 70 to 3 yesterday. What a close game ;) Daddy says they won't play again til Jan 4. I don't know if I can wait so long, I do enjoy watching them play. Especially when they win. Of course I've never seen them lose. Daddy says they lost once, before I was born, but I don't believe him. Anyway remember to wear your ornage Jan 4!!

Santa Claus is Coming to Grandma & Grandpa's

Victoria, I think there's been some mistake. When I came home from work today I found your stocking hanging on our fireplace. Are you coming to visit us for Christmas? That would be really wonderful! I notice that your stocking has two feet just like your jammies. There's a nice big pocket, too. Guess Santa will have to work overtime to get it all filled up with goodies. Sure hope he has good elves.

Love,
Grandma S

Now in the interest of fairness - The Mommy incident

Mushot of Victoria J Muller, accused of assaulting Mommy with a wet weapon--->

Well it was a couple days after that Daddy incident (see below). I had been very good while Mommy was at her yoga class. Daddy feed me, gave me a bath, and put my pjs on. When Mommy came home I was so excited! Unfortunately, Daddy hadn't put the diaper on very well, and after all what goes in must come out. I'm sorry Mommy. It's a lucky thing you had on your yoga stuff and not a fancy dress.

The daddy incident

So here's my story. You can believe what you want, but why not believe a pretty girl?!? I was taking a bath the other night, just lounging around when mommy gives me a cup. I didn't ask for the cup, she gave it to me. Well what's a kid to do? I filled the cup and tossed the water on the floor. I am a kid after all. But what good is an empty cup? So I filled it. Now let me just say, I had NO idea daddy was on the floor cleaning up spill #1 when I decided to make spill # 2. So he got a little bath water on him. I was sitting in the bath and I didn't mind. Well I guess daddy did, cuz he dressed me in this silly red outfit ( please look at exhibit 1) and line me up in front of a glowing tree. I knew I was in for it when daddy started to laugh at me "Ho ho ho," was all he could seem to say. He then proceeded to hoist me wayyyyyyy up to the top of the tree where he told me to put the glowing lady on top. I don't know what she did but it must have been bad if she got stuck up there. Well daddy then gave me a big hug and kiss and we starting singing about getting 2 front teeth, but I got them already! Anyway that's my story and I'm sticking with it!

From Daddy: Yeah that's what happened *wink*. BTW if you think here eyes are bight blue in piucs, wait til you seem them in person.

Family

Sorry I haven't written in a while. I've been very busy with my family. I have so many stories. Maybe you'd like to hear about me eating my first pickle. Perhaps you'd like to hear about how I splashed a little water from my bath and while Daddy was cleaning it up I poured a glass of water all over him. You also might want to know about the six new teeth I'm cutting all at once. However, it's my bedtime so all these fabulous tales will have to wait for another day. Goodnight family.

MMM Turkey

Check it out faithful readers. It's my first turkey. Well I guess it was everyone's turkey because everyone got to eat it. However, Daddy let me eat some of it by mashing it to a goo. They also ate potatoes and stuffing and cranberrys and delicious pie. I didn't get any of that stuff :( Thats OK I'm sure Daddy will let me have more stuff next year. We will do this next year right? In any case its been a hectic week, and I'm going back to Grandpa S's today. Whew, will it never end?

What's a Reflection?

I got the neatest high chair when Grandma and Grandpa Muller and Mommy took me to Babys R Us. I really like all of the seashore stuff on it. It has toys, music and a mirror. It even has this neat tray that snaps on and when I get it messy, it can go in the dishwasher.

I like to sit in my chair because Mommy lets me eat real food. Of course, since I'm so big now, I want to feed myself. I'm getting pretty good at grabbing for the spoon.

When Grandma S came last week, I was sitting in the chair. She got out her camera and of course I put on my best smile, but look at what happened! Her camera gave me a light moustache. They tell me it's a reflection from my mirror, but it looks like a moustache to me. Next time maybe we better hide the mirror.

The Big Weekend Part2

Well it finally came... my Christening. Many of my family and friends came to share this special day. Daddy and Mommy dressed up all nice and Aunt Breana and Uncle Matt were there to be my godparents. I thought that was extra special of them. I got to wear a beautiful dress made by Grandma S. I really did like it. I wish I could wear it everyday. Thanks!

Both grandmas and grandpas were there and even great-grandma! Woo! I felt extra special love as the pastor carried me around the church and everyone applauded. Whew I am exhausted though. I'm glad there is nothing else going on this week. What?? What do you mean Thanksgiving is coming. What's that?

PS Thanks Marta, Scott,Tisch, Bill, Kelly, Rob & Karen for attending the service and the party afterward. Sorry I slept through most of the party, but it had been such a big week for me.

The Big Weekend Part 1

Well after waiting for what seems like years my big weekend has come! This is the weekend that all my grandmas and grandpas came to visit me while I got baptized. But first we went to Grandpa S's on Friday to eat. We went to a Korean restarant that mommy said was the best. If it was the best I wonder why everyone was so displeased. Besides the fact that the service was incredibly bad and the food (what they weren't out of) was bleh, it seemed OK to me. I had a good time, just check out the picture. Anyway, I guess the moral is - "don't go to a restaurant the night before it closes..." I have more to tell you about my weekend but I need a little nap now. See ya later.

Solid Food

Since I'm almost 15 pounds, Mommy and Daddy have decided I'm ready for a little bit of solid food. So far I've had sweet potatoes (yummy) and rice cereal (just O.k.). At the beginning of the day I'm content to let Mommy feed me, but later on in the day I want to feed myself. Everyone else does, so why shouldn't I? It can be a bit messy. Tomorrow Grandma M. , Mommy, and I are going to get a highchair for me. We were going to go today, but I decided to catch up on my beauty rest and slept almost three hours this afternoon. Also, I get to see Great Grandma S. tommorrow. Yipee!

Grandma and Grandpa are Here!

Well the day has finally come. I'm so excited. Grandma and grandpa have come to visit. All the way from Pennsylvania. It was very exciting waiting in the airport for them to come. When I saw them coming down the stairs I let out a yelp. We then got to go out and have chinese food. Only I didn't have any :( Maybe next time... Anyway its great having grandpa and grandma here. I can't wait to tell you about all the fun adventures we will have til then here's a picture and I'll write soon.

The Entertainer

Sing
Sing a Song
Sing out Loud
Sing out Strong

I love my entertainer.

I'm am not enjoying cutting this top tooth though. The entertainer helps me forget about it for ten or fifteen minutes.

Daddy Note: Nice song but I would have picked a Billy Joel tune...

Oh I am the entertainer, and I know not where I stand.
I'm not a serenader and I'm not a long-haired band.

Interview Part II

We are back with Part II of our interview with everyone's favorite baby!

So Victoria, you turned 6 months today. Any words of wisdom for us?
Oh sure, everything I needed to know in life I learned when I was 1 month old. If you're hungry cry, someone will feed you If you're wet, cry, someone will change you. If you're dirty, cry...

I think we get the picture. Now that you are grown up, are you ready to strike out on your own?
Heck No! Mommy and daddy treat me so well, I'm in no rush to change things. I'm gonna continue to be the baby, a role that suits me well.

Indeed. So besides being a baby, what else are you looking forward to?
Well Grandma and Grandpa Muller are coming all the way from Pennsylvania. I'm not sure where that is but sounds far, far away.

Really, and why are they coming?
To see me! Also, I'm to be christened on November 20.

Sounds grand. And where might this be happening?
At Gethsemane in Austin. At 10:30...

Anything else you wanna plug?
Well I hear there is this Thanksgiving thing happening. Daddy has invited everyone and their mothers...Literally!

And..
Well I am anticipating this Christmas Holiday. I hear there will mirth and merriment and presents for pretty girls! Which reminds me Mommy and Daddy insisted on registering me at Amazon, but what I really want for Jesus's birth is peace on earth, goodwill towards man, and of course real estate.

O.k. Lucy. Well, we'll see if you are a good girl till then. Remember "He's making a list. He's checking it twice."
"He's gonna find out who is naughty or nice"

Everybody
"Santa Claus is coming to town!"

Big Feet

I'm rather a petite little girl. My six month check up isn't till next week, but I doubt I'm much more than 15 pounds. Everyone knows I was blessed with a very large head (the better to keep my brains in I say), but you may not know about my big feet. Mommy has had to retire some of my 3-6 month sleepers; although they still fit everywhere else the feet were very tight. Mommy also needs to buy me new socks because I've outgrown almost all mine--even the 6-9 month ones. Oh well, I'll eventually catch up with my feet. Or maybe I'll just be like Aunt Breana. :) I love my Aunt Breana.

Monkey Dance

Thanks for my new dress Grandma. It makes me want to sing:

Do the Monkey Dance
Do the Monkey Dance
Do the dance 'cause it's the rage in France
Doing the Monkey Dance tonight

The Missing Sock

I know Halloween is over, but I have one more scary story. When the Mommy put me down for my nap I was wearing two peach socks. They have little white bows with red flowers and match my outfit. When I woke up, I was wearing only one sock (this is often the case). Mommy looked under the blanket in the crib for my sock; she looked on the floor in front of and on the sides of my crib for the sock; she looked behind my crib for the sock; however, there was no sock. Mommy thought because I was crying so loudly that maybe I had swallowed the sock. Luckily, she decided to change my diaper first and she found where I had hidden the sock. Then Mommy washed both socks. Wasn't I clever to fool mommy!

Just FYI: I'm feeling much better; mommy has a bit of a headache though.

Cousins!!

Sorry Folks, but I'm too sick for pictures or silly interviews. Instead I thought I show you my cousins. They are a crazy bunch of guys who all seem to have a good heart. First there's Evan. He's quite the athlete I hear. He's quite good with the foosball. Perhaps he'll play for my favorite team, the Longhorns, someday. Then there is Matt. He seems well... he is a middle chile after all.. but he seems nice. I'm sure when we meet we will quickest of freiends ( or I'll slug him.) Then ther is Peyton the little guy. He's young. Heck he's younger than me! I heard he's tough though. Born in the back of a truck-- no hospitals for that kid. I think they are all grand and I can't wait to meet them. I think they'd like me, am I not a sweet girl? I would also like to give a shout out for Keira. I hear she is out of ICU and will be much better soon. WooT!!!! thats great news.

I goth a coldth

I don't feel so well today. I have had a cold for a couple of days and I don't like it. My nose feels so full and coughing hurts. So you can see why I have not written much. To make matters worse my friend Keira is really sick. I hope she gets better soon so her mommy and daddy can take care of her. Get well soon Keira! We love you.

Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

Today is special because it is my Grandpa's birthday. He's the big guy who comes to visit me sometimes. When I was really little I liked to hear him talk.

Last weekend Grandpa and Grandma took care of me while Mommy and Daddy went to Mass. I wasn't too happy, but it got better when we went out on the patio. I stopped crying cuz there was this really neat polka dot pattern all over Grandpa. Course I didn't know it at the time, but it was all over me, too. Grandma thought it would make a great picture.

Happy Birthday, Grandpa! Hope you are enjoying San Diego.

Almost Crawling!

I think this moving stuff looks pretty good. All of the big people in my life move around, and so do Clare and Mortimer, and they're more my size. Even some of the little kids at church move, so I'm bound determined I'm going to move too. At first when I tried this I scooted backward. That wasn't where I wanted to go. Now I'm getting the hang of moving forward, and is it ever hard work!

Last weekend Mommy and Grandma S let me practice on the floor in Mommy and Daddy's room. They put my favorite chewing toy in front of me and guess what--I got it!

Costume

Shhhh don't tell anyone but this is my mommy and me in costume. She dressed up as a Spanish mamacita and I am her baby. Did you know it was us? Daddy wanted me to be Yoda, but all the costumes were to big. I do like to dress up and maybe next year I can get my own costume. After all the boy next door was a bumble bee and he is only 2! Any suggestions on what I can be? I'm thinking race car driver, fairy princess, or astronaut. Oh well, I have a whole year to decide.

Halloween

Hey everyone. Happy Halloween!! Not sure what is all about but I sure am going to enjoy it. Grandma and Grandpa gave me some money to enjoy myself. Five big ones, I felt like an heiress. I wasn't sure what to do with this new found windfall. But Mommy and Daddy did, they took me shopping and I got this neato pumpkin. But now I have no money. Easy come easy go, and it really is a neat pumpkin...

Mommy & Me!

Have you met the mommy? She's the best. She feeds me. She plays with me. She dresses me and best of all she sings to me. Would you like to hear my favorite song? Here goes:

Mommy and me

Mommy and me,

Mommy and me and daddy makes three

That's our family, happy as can be

Mommy and me me me me me

Confessions of a Swinger

Yes, we had quite the adventure today. We went to the park!! Mommy and Daddy walked and walked and walked to get there. Luckily I got to ride in the carriage. It seemed like forever, but let me tell you it was worth the wait. Mommy pushed me on the swing! Never in my short life have I had such excitment. If you get the chance you really should try out the swings.

No Picture Today!!!

No pictures -- I'm sorry the silly internet is not working. I'll try again later. We have exciting shots of me on a swing...see y'all later

Wednesday, October 26, 2005

Don't I look pretty? Mommy put a new dress on me today so we could go to church! She's getting my ready for the christening -- boy I can't wait. She says Grandma and Grandma and Grandpa and Grandpa and even greatgrandma will all be there!!! woo hoo. I hope I can wear this red dress becuase red is my favorite color. Well that's it for now, I'll talk to you tomorrow.

Teething is Hard Work

Miss Victoria is now the proud owner of four teeth and counting. She’s had to work hard to get them, and any tool she can use to help her goes directly into her mouth. The pacifier hasn’t held much interest until now when she can control just how it goes into her mouth. Maybe it’s not quite what the manufacturer had in mind, but it works—an engineer in the making?

Restless Night

I had a bad night. I woke up in the middle of it and was cold. I didn't know what cold was, but of course mommy took care of me. Still, it was a long night and you'll excuse me if I'm cranky. I'm gonna play with my jungle gym and forget about the cold weather. We'll talk later.

Mommy and Daddy went to the Mexican Restaurant and all I got was this Celery!

That's right you heard. Last night Mommy and Daddy and grandma and grandpa went to a Mexican restaurant. Yes, very exiciting I know. They dined on pulled pork, friend bananas, tortillas and huevos. Yeah I don't even know what a huevo is, but I wanted some. Did I get any Noooooo! All I got was a stalk of celery! Does that seem right? Does that seem fair? I ask you gentle reader where's the justice? Where's the truth? Where's the beef? I can't write anymore ... Celery hmmph!

My New Four Legged Friend

I got a new four legged friend this weekend--Grandma S adopted a new puppy just so I can play with him! His name is Mortimer (which is bigger than he is), he's ten weeks old and is smaller than me, so that's kind of neat. Here I am getting my first look at him. He's part Schnauzer and part Catahoula Spotted Leopard dog. He likes to play a lot, but he still takes naps just like me.

It was really funny when I first met him. Grandma was holding him and I thought he was a stuffed toy, just like my teddy bear. Then I saw him move--wow, a furry toy that moves. That's pretty cool.

He's really gentle as he lets me grab at him, and of course the part I like to grab the most is his nose. Grandma and Mom put my hands on his back and I'm learning how to pet him. I love to grab his front paw, too. I think that Mortimer and I are going to be really good friends. I can't wait to visit Grandma in November when I can play with him all week!
