It's Christmas

Happy Holidays dear readers! That's right it's Christmas time and here we have my annual Christmas Photo of me eating cake??!?!?! OK, so we couldn't use the Santa one because I wouldn't sit still. And we couldn't use the tree one because I wouldn't sit still. And then there was the one of me in the children's choir -- I SAT STILL FOR THAT! But, sigh, there was bad lighting. So, anyway enjoy your cake this holiday season and a big Feliz Navidad from here in Texas.

It was 30 years ago today...

And now the famous cowgirl will ride the range once again. C'mon Grandma put the quarters in. C'mon horsey giddy up. Don't seem to be working. Oh well suppose I can do it all myself. OK now time to go home to Mommy and her new babies :( I tell you she just doesn't get me any more. She doesn't understand what it's like to be 2 1/2 and riding the range with the wind in her hair and her pal beneath her. She doesn't know. What's that Grandma? You have a picture to show me... of who?

I was so much older then...

Well as you may be aware, I have become an older sister. In order to fill this role, I felt some changes were called in order. Thus, I asked Daddy for a new hairdo. I think it makes me look much older -- 3 or perhaps 3 1/2. And I started putting my blocks in this purse, because an older girl needs her bag -- wouldn't you agree -- Dahhhling?

New Pic and Mystery resolved

Elizabeth, would you stop gorging yourself and get over here?

uhhhh OK Brain... I mean Kat

Now we are going to explain to the fine folks at home one of the mysteries of twindom.

Whats that Kat?

WHY ONE TWIN IS GOOD AND THE OTHER EVIL!!

surrrrree..

Its quite simple mathematices you see. My birth weight was 3 pounds 6, the square root of which is 6. While your weight was 4 pounds 9, the square root of which is 7.

But pounds aren't decimal...

Never mind that the point is you're a 7 -- a generally lucky number-- and I'm a 6 -- a generally evil number. Thus I am the evil twin.

If you say so... ?!?!?

Gee Kat, what are we gonna do today?

The same thing we do every day, dear Elizabeth. TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!

A Not So Happy Halloween

I don't think this is my favorite holiday. First of all, my costume was hot and a little short, especially after my wonderful dancing in the parade. My teacher said I was just like a ladybug--flittering here, there, and everywhere. Secondly, while I could grow to like this pizza thing, it's just so unfair that they want you to eat it from the apex. I prefer to eat crust first. Lastly, what's with this going to houses and then not going inside them? The candy is nice for Daddy, but what do I get out of the deal? Oh well, I hear Thanksgiving is coming soon and I love that holiday. All I'm expected to do is eat. I can do that.

More Guests!

Ya'll may remember my friend Keira. http://victoriajmuller.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html See January 6, 2006 and http://victoriajmuller.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html July 9, 2006. Her Mommy drove many, many miles just so we could play. She also brought Mommy a new stoller for my little sisters. I liked showing Keira and her little sister my blocks, books, and dancing table. Keira was very nice and she sure talks a lot. She had a little trouble saying the V in my name, but Toria is what some of the kids at preschool call me too. Her little sister, Maeryn, laughs a lot, but I don't understand why she starts crying. I just wanted to touch her pretty eyes. Anyhow, I was very tired after our playtime, so it's early to bed for me.

Guests!

Yes, we had some more guests this weekend. Check out the picture of my friend Claire to the right. She was a funny kid. When she first came over she pulled out all my toys; finally settling on Mr. Quackers. I was a little nervous because she was so tall. Can you believe she's only six months older than me? She turned out all right though; at the end of our visit she was following me around and copying things I did like dancing, singing, and shouting. What can I say I must be a born leader. Below is a picture of her whole family. Notice her little brother in the middle there. Cute kid though a bit of a pushover --- if you know what I mean, you know... I PUSHED HIM OVER !!! Oh well, he's OK now. Good night all -- from Victoria J

Slow Sunday

It was an especially slow day today. I let Mommy and Daddy sleep in till 11. Normally, Mommy sets the alarm, but I guess she forget. They've been working real hard lately. I just sat around drinking my milk and looking outside. How wonderful it was. People were running round doing the errands. My friend Hannah was going for a walk with her folks. Ahh, Autumn in Texas. Heck it was only 91 degrees! Brrrrrrr! Wake up Daddy! Wake up Mommy we got stuff to do!

Reading is Fundamentally ----- tasty!

Yes, I do love the reading and the book. This one here is especially tasty!

NO NO NO Victoria we don't eat the books

Don't eat the books? What do you mean don't eat them? Mommy said to enjoy my reading. To get into it. Devour the books. Especially, the ones with sheep.

She was speaking metaphorically.

Metawhatsical?

Meta... oh it doesn't matter. We do NOT eat books OK? We cherish and value them.

And wait for Daddy to cook them.

And wait fo ..... NOOOOOO!

I mean he has all those books with the all that food in them.

You mean the cookbooks?

Yes, exactly ! Book that you cook! And once cooked, eaten!

I give up.

Could you pass the Dr Seuss? I'd like some green eggs and ham. No, well I'll settle for the lamb Daddy made for dinner. It sure was tasty.

So, it's over the hill and through the woods helloooooooooo Grandpa's house, not to mention Grandma, Ash, Brit and Mort! Gonna be a hot one tonight - just another day in the life of Victoria J! Grandma even said she'd wash my outfits, as Mommy seems to be very tired lately. I wonder why?

Getting ready!

Well I haven't posted so much lately and I do apologize. You see we have been busy at the old Muller homstead getting ready for the impending doom. I mean our two wonderful bundles of Joy :). Well one bundle of Joy and one bundle of Josephine. Mommy has been taking most of it calmly as she gets bigger and bigger while Daddy, well Daddy has been running around like the proverbially chicken with his head cut off. Me, well I'm just taking it in stride and doing what I can. I've taken up a new hobby-- "strolling" maybe when the new kids get here I can push them around. Oh who are we kidding, you know I'll push them around!!!

School Daze

So today I went to my very special first day of Pre-school. Let me tell you, it was an adventure to top all others! There was so much to do there. Stations to play at; and stations to create at; and stations to eat at and drink too. And guess what kiddos... I drank out of the big girl cup. That's right no sippy straws for this bold adventurous lass. There were so many other kids there and so much to learn. It was fun for the first three hours, but you know what, there was one thing missing. There was no Mommy!!!! Yes, its true, and when they said "sit down" ( to sleep) I stood up!* and yelled "I want my Mommy" and "See ya, bye bye" for about an hour and 30 minutes. You'd think they would have gotten the message quicker... Well, we will see what happens next time -- I'm going to try again Wednesday

As always your intrepid misadventurer Victoria J

Weekend with the Grandparents

I am officially a big girl now. I got to spend a whole weekend with my Grandpa and Grandma S, and of course Brittney, Ashlee and Mort. It was actually Mort who convinced me. Grandma asked if I wanted to go visit Mort and I grabbed her hand and headed out the door. Of course I dressed for the trip--notice the coordinating pink shirt, skort, shoes and of course the hat. You just can't travel in this summer heat without your hat! Think I could earn some extra cash as a model? Guess I'd have to quit chewing my fingernails, though. Daddy, maybe it's time to trim them.

I got the nicest surprise when it came to bedtime. My old friends were waiting for me. As you can see, I'm snuggling up to them in my sleep--my bumpers. I had fun pointing to things like bunnies and bears and flowers and blocks and smiling because I remember seeing them when I was too little to know what they were. It was awfully nice to snuggle up to those bumpers at night, too. Grandpa laid down beside me and began snoring. I could just reach underneath and poke him to stop, just like Grandma does! Anyway, I got to nap and sleep the night away right between Grandma & Grandpa. The first morning I woke up around 7:30, pulled myself up to see who was on the other side of the bumpers, saw Grandpa and said, "Grandpa" (or my version of it), then looked over and saw Grandma on the other side and said "Grandma" and then smiled again and said, "Night, night." Then I immediately laid down and went to sleep for another three hours. That Temperpedic is some bed!

They even feed you at Grandpa's house, too. I'm so big I can crawl onto my seat all by myself. Here I am waiting for someone to see me and fix something to fill this plate. Of course, it made a great hat while I was waiting. In case you don't know it, I really, really like hats!
While staying with Grandma and Grandpa was nice, I must admit I was glad to get home and see Mommy and Daddy. But now I know when I get bored with them, I have somewhere else I can go with things to do, people to play with, and of course Mort to pet. I can throw his ball for him now and he loves to play fetch.
More later. . .

Flying on a Swing

Well, Mama went flying in a plane, so Grandma S came to get me. She took me to her house for my first overnight and she thought I should get to fly too, but she didn't have a plane for me, so we did the next best thing. We went to the park! I got to fly on a swing. I even made my first conquest as this cute boy came over and pushed me. I just batted my eyes at him and babbled a bit, but that was OK because he didn't speak much more English than me. Grandma S could talk to him, though, and after a couple times of saying "despacio" it was the ideal trip in the air. Eat your heart out--I'm flying!

Now That I'm 2, They Make Me Work

Boy, I'm not sure turning two is worth it. Do you know what they make you do? You have to clean up after yourself.

OK, I'll admit it. Sometimes I'm a messy eater. Yeah, yeah, I'm a REALLY messy eater. But come on, I'm two. I'm better with my fingers than the silverware. I LIKE to eat with my fingers because its faster and I am a good eater.

Last week Mommy asked me to put my Christmas present to work. Grandma and Grandpa got me a broom, and now I have to use it.

Well, I complied, but I'm still not sure about all of this.
