Costume??!?

Hey, What's this? I was told I was to be a ladybug for Halloween. Does this look like a ladybug to you? I think Not! I did not sign up to be an extra in Lord of the Dance. Call my people, I can't let this outrage stand! Huh? Oh Grandma has the ladybug costume in Sherman. Well Mommy, time to hit the road. We need to get to Sherman before Halloween...

One year burning down the road....

Hard to believe, but it's been one year since I started this little old blog. And BOY, what a year it has been! Daddy wanted to do a retospective, but I said "BAH" to that. Instead of looking back, we should be looking ahead. I have a whole lotta misadventures just waiting to happen. For instance, what will happen on my first day of school?

Or what about the day I graduate college? ( GrandmaS you have a spot waiting for me, right?)

Ahh college, I tried being a brunette in those days....

But then it's the real world; work, responsibilities and before you know it -- my wedding day (Daddy start saving now!)

And after that, the sky's the limit! Congresswoman Muller, Governor Muller and maybe someday-- PRESIDENT MULLER!

Hey it could happen......

But till then stay tuned. Everyday is a misadventure when you hang with VictoriaJ!

The Toddler Monster Mash

OK, on Monday I told you about some of the stuff we did over the weekend. Well, Peyton, I saved the best part for last! There was this great big area that was really, really bouncy with all kinds of soft, fun blocks (and I mean BIG blocks) in it for just kids our size.

What you gotta do is this--first take off your shoes. I LOVE being barefoot, so this is my kinda place. Next you climb down the step into the pit. It feels really squishy on your toes and you sort of dip down with every step you take, so expect to take a fall or two at first while you're getting used to it. The good thing, though, is that you can fall and not get hurt!

You can see by the picture that I took a little spill and didn't hurt myself one bit. Some cute young guy even ran into me once and we both flopped down, and guess who got up first--yours truly!

The blocks are really cool. You can carry them around and climb on them and use them to help you stand up. You can stack them, too.

I think the thing I like the best was just running around on this soft stuff, though. You could really go and go and go and it felt so good on my toes. I can hardly wait to go back and visit this place again. And you know what--we will cuz Mommy and Daddy and Grandma and Grandpa and Brittney and Ashlee all upgraded their tickets to season passes for the rest of this year and all of next. Is that a sweet deal or what? So really, dear cousins, you gotta come visit us in Texas! We'll visit more neat stuff all over the state.

Scottie's Right--There Be Whales

Boy oh boy oh boy, did we ever have a weekend! Friday Grandpa S came and got me and Mommy and Ashlee and we went to San Antonio where we met Grandma S and Brittney and then Saturday Daddy and Aunt Bre and Uncle Matthew joined us and we all got into our cars and went to this place called Sea World. Evan, Matthew and Peyton--you got to drag your parents down here cuz you will never believe it! It was so much fun. As a matter of fact, I can't even write about everything in one day so this will get broken up into two posts.

After we walked and walked and walked we got to a place called the front gate. We got to go right in because we already had our tickets and what do we see but this place where they keep these horses called Clydesdales. Now I've seen horses before, but these are the biggest horses I ever saw, but I guess that is to be expected since this is Texas. They had an area where kids could really go in and stand by one and touch it. Grandpa had them take our picture and he has it at his house and I am really, really petting that big horse.

The we walked some more and came to this really, really big play area where they had this big ship. You can see it behind Mommy and Daddy. I think Daddy got camera shy. Anyway, Mommy and I decided to climb the ropes Wow--it was was scarey and fun. The holes were a little big for me, but Mommy helped me out.

Next I got to play in the sand. Now this wasn't an ordinary sand pile--it was HUGE. And you know what was the best part? They had these great trucks that you got to throw sand right out of--I think they called them dump trucks. Wow! I wonder if Santa knows how much fun those are. Anyway, this sand pile was as big as most of my back yard.

After that we went to see a show called Believe! with someone named Shamu and his friends. I had NO idea that Shamu was a whale. Do you know how big these guys are? We got to sit about six rows up and guess what--there was a glassed in wall that held the water in the tank and you could even see when they were under the water. I was totally transfixed. . .that means I just stared and stared and stared and could not believe what my eyes were seeing. There were some really lucky people who got to swim and dive and play with the whales. What a great job! Grandma said that she could see the wheels turning in my head and I was thinking maybe I could play with whales when I grow up. Anyway, that's all for today. I'll tell you more about it tomorrow, but really, my New Jersey cousins, you gotta come see this!

Goldilocks 2.0

A not so long time ago, in a land called Texas there lived a little girl name VictoriaJ. Now VictoriaJ wanted nothing more in the whole wide world than to have what other girls take for granted. And what is that? HAIR! And then one day as she awoke from her nap...

Dude..... Check it out. I've got hair ! I've got hair!
Beautiful golden locks of hair. Oh Joy Oh Joy. Now I can wear ribbons and bows. I can comb my hair and brush it!. I can have pigtails. No wait I can have a ponytail. Ponies are much better than pigs anyday. Yes, I can do whatever I want now that I have hair!

And what is the 1st thing VictoriaJ did after getting so much hair???

Yup -- She put a hat on...

The moral of the story ? I dunno. Well uhmmm The hat kinda looks like the type Christopher Columbus wore. So uhhhh Happy Columbus Day!

Goofy?!

Daddy say this picture makes me look goofy? Goofy I think not. I'm a sophisticated young lady. I ain't goofy. I mean do you think I look goofy? You didn't answer me right away. That means you think I look goofy! I won't stand for this. I know when I have been insulted!
Goofy I think not...

Any resemblence of VictoriaJ to LucyVP is purely coincidental.

See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the Dancing Queen!!!

Wow, check it out Daddy got this neat dry erase board that he writes things on, but who cares! What really matters is when you turn it over it makes a great dance floor. I tell ya I like to boggie, I like disco all night long... Yeah. That's right them other dancers ain't got nothing on me. Just check out my moves below. I ..AM... The Dancing Queen. C'mon everybody sing it with me:

You are the Dancing Queen, young and sweet, only seventeen (months)

Dancing Queen, feel the beat from the tambourine

You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life

See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the Dancing Queen

Note from Daddy - ABBA still rocks

Mystery Box

Uh oh. Daddy is cooking fried chicken again. Don't get me wrong, while I like fried chicken I don't like the ruckus Daddy makes while cooking. I better hide in the corner here. Hmm whats this box???I haven't seen it before. I think I heard Grandma S talk about it. Maybe she can fill me in.

Climbing is fun

Where is it?? Daddy, what did you do with it??Hmmm is it in here?? Pretty clever old man, but I have figured you out! Now, how do I get in there??

Got to be careful these boxes can be tricky to navigate....

You know Pop you could help me out here. I mean c'mon I'm just a little kid and you are just sitting there with the camera just snapping away...

HAHA. At last I have found you. My precious water bottle. Uh Oh, there's Mommy. She doesn't look happy; maybe because I'm not not supposed to play back here? I think Daddy and I are in trouble.

Outside Time and Reading Time

Well the cousins came over on Saturday. The weather was great so we played outside. Ashlee found a caterpillar in my tree. After we played with it for a while it started to get hot, so we went inside for some reading time. Everyone enjoyed her favorite story.
Later, Grandma, Mommy, and I went to Aunt Breana and Uncle Matthew's house. I discovered they have a handwashing area just my size. Maude and Artimus didn't like me playing with it though. They wanted to drink out of it. Now who drinks out of bowl? Anyhow, it was another fun weekend for me.

Shhh....!

Shhh I'm asleep now....FINALLY! Please be quiet I need my sleep!
You see I was awake soooo early today. Daddy's alarm went off 3 times. I woke up on the second one and I'm in a different room! Oh Daddy learn how to wake up!
Then I had a fun filled day with Mommy. We did ohh so many things(like aerobics and a nature walk) and I was excited. Well, things were crazy and I didn't have time to have a nap. I thought I would later, but then Daddy came home and I had to give him a big hug! So, more excitement then. I also got a little upset because Mommy wouldn't let me drink out of the blue glass. Do you suppose it has something to do with Monday's broken plate?

Next, they got me a chicken Cesar salad. not sure who Cesar is, but he makes a nifty salad. Next came another walk (this one in the stroller), and then a bath. Normally, I go to bed after the bath, but Mommy and Daddy looked like they were lonely, so I decided to stay up for another hour. Finally, some more horseplay and before you know it I've been up 14 hours straight. Do I look like a rested baby? No way, so please keep it down because I'm getting my beauty rest!

The story continues....

"Unbreakable Plastic Plate you say daddy?????"

Bwahahahahaha -- I think not!

VictoriaJ strikes again!!

Crash

Crash! Bang! Pow!

hehe

Crash! Bang! Crash!

ohhhh hoho

Oh this is great! Mommy and Daddy thought they were soooo smart when they locked up all the kitchen cabinets so I could not get in em. Baby-proofing they called it. Well they aren't that smart, because they left one open! Thats right hehe! I, of course, took full advantage of it. I took out the the light aluminum pot and starting using it as a drum. They I took out the unbreakable plastic plates and bounced them on the floor. Oh boy I had a great time running amok in the kitchen! And Mommy and Daddy could not stop me! Good thing the stuff was unbreakable and totally safe, becuase I wouldn't want to get hurt frolicking. Hey wait a minute.... PLastic unbreakable plates... Light aluminun pots...You don't suppose Mommy and Daddy left this cabinet intentionally open? To keep me busy and safe at the same time? NAhhhhh they aren't that smart. Must have been one of Grandma's ideas...

Labor Day Weekend Fun

Vacations are a lot of fun. You get to meet new people and play with some who you know, but don't get to see too often.

Saturday Mommy, Grandma S and I drove down to see Keira and her Mommy and Daddy. We had a great time. She has this toy store in her house. The best part is that the toys are mostly different than the toy store at my house, so I had lots and lots of new stuff to explore. There was this ball that lit up, a different musical table than mine that had a tunnel to roll balls through, a xylophone stick that is great for carrying around and chewing the end on, a puzzle of animals that makes animal noises. As you can see, I had to look to see just where those animals were hiding! I never did find them, though. Curious. Keira and me, though, we had a grand old time!

We made a quick trip to Plano for a part for Grandma's serger, but I mostly slept through that as well as a trip to the fabric store. They tell me that Mommy went in and looked and then Grandma went in and then Mommy went in again all to pick out something they called a costume pattern for this thing called Halloween. I was pretty little last year, but I do remember the pumpkin. Anyway, they aren't telling me yet what I get to wear, but they say I'm going to go buggy over it, whatever that means.

That night Mommy and I went to visit one of her friends named Amy. They hadn't seen each other in ten years. Wow! That's a lot older than me. We played outside and her dog named Corky welcomed me by licking my toes. Boy did that tickle.

Today was Labor Day, and Grandma S had to labor as in go to work and teach her class. Everyone else had a great holiday, though. As you can see, I got lots of play time with Ashlee and Brittney. We decided instead of Labor Day we'd call it Pink Day--notice all of our cool duds have pink in them. It's a girly thing, you know. Brit's pants and mine actually match since they're custom made.

I'm heading back home, now. Imagine I'll have some other cool adventures this week.

A Swinging Vacation

Hi, Daddy, and all of you out in reader land. Mommy and I are on vacation again, so Daddy can have some peace and quiet and BBQ ribs! We're back at Grandma S's house and as you can see by the photo, I'm having a swinging vacation. But Daddy, don't you worry, you're still the best swinger ever! Mommy gets tired way too easy and she can't swing me near as long as you do. You're still the champ!
