This not going to school is pretty dull for me. In addition to bugging my little sisters and playing with my dolls, I've been having a bit of dress-up fun. See for yourself.

What a Friday!
After enjoying some post-concert cookies and lemonade, I headed over to my big girl school. There I had to help make the snow cones and decorate the cookies. I mostly followed the directions and waited to eat till everyone had some.
Next, I went home and my friend Hannah came by to wish me Happy Holidays. Then, Daddy came home early and we played and played. We got to eat my favorite meal for dinner, rice and chicken. What a busy day! No wonder some people get stressed out during the holidays

A Muller-Muller Song

Here's a photo of me playing at the park after watching a holiday play. It was downtown and I liked all the tall buildings. The play had some singing and I liked that OK. However, everytime they stopped singing I'd ask Mommy, "Time to go?" or "I want the bus!" I got to hear more singing at school yesterday as the Big Kids (7-10 year olds) put on a show for my class and the Kinders. I liked this better and stayed in my seat and clapped at the right times. Tomorrow, I get to sing in my church program. Mommy will try and get some pictures.
In honor of all this singing my Daddy and I made up a song. It's my own tune and Daddy really just provided some help on the fourth line.

Getting ready for Christmas
Well, it's December, the time of year when thoughts turn to the holidays. Boy, did they ever turn to the holidays today! I got up at 6 a.m., had breakfast, and traveled from home to Grandpa's house so we could go to a celebration at his work. They just told me it was going to be a party, so I practiced singing "Happy Birthday" in the car, but when I got there it wasn't a birthday party at all. Don't worry, though, since Mommy's birthday is soon I'll get to sing then, and of course we'll be celebrating Jesus' birth pretty soon, but that isn't really part of today's story. We drove up to this big building and I found out it was a school, but it wasn't like the school I go to because there wasn't a classroom. All it had was a realy, really big room with long tables and benches and all sorts of things we could do. I started out at the letter writing table. They
had this neat stationery that let us write to Santa and tell him what we wanted for Christmas. Grandma asked me what I wanted and I said books! She asked if there was anything else and I said a dolly. The second thing I wanted to do was to get my face painted. Just as she was touching my face, she said, "Oh, this may be a little cold." She was right. I picked design #10 which was some pretty Christmas ornaments.
Next we stood in line and stood in line and stood in line to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus. I even got to play the bean bag toss when I was waiting when
we passed that part of the room. As you can see, they were very nice to me and I really liked them. Now I'd already written a letter to him, but he must not have read it because he asked me what I wanted again. I talked so quietly no one else could hear, so I guess Santa will just have to bring what I said.
They had a coloring contest, and if you were 3 and under you got to color a tree. I decided I didn't want just a boring old tree--I wanted a colorful Christmas tree so I used about 8 different crayon colors and then 3 more marker colors to perfect the picture. Of course I signed it with a V to let the world know I did it.
We had a snack and then went outside. Wow! My eyes about popped out of my head. They had two jump houses and a train to ride. Now I have to tell you I am a jump house champion! My Grandpa was so proud of me and he told Grandma they better get me in gymnastics or something like that quick because I bounced like a champ on a trampoline. Hmmm,
wasn't there a sport in the last Olympics that was something like that? I'll have to ask Mommy and Daddy since they are Olympics fanatics.

I was so much fun! He took us in circles and went around curves and we circled the building. It was a blast! And that's only the first part of my day! More to come later.

Happy Thanksgiving
I am very thankful that Daddy, Great-Grandma N. and Oma made it through their respective surgeries. I also liked that both my Grandmas sent me cards. And I got a new treat this year, vegan pumpkin pie. Yummy!
I also wanted to share my new song with you. Sung to the tune of "Twinkle Twinkle"
Drumming Drumming it's my thing
Drumming Drumming and I sing
Drumming Drumming every day
Drumming Drumming it's my way
Drumming Drumming just for you
Drumming Drumming you like it too.
Mommy and Daddy don't understand how I can make up full songs, but have some trouble with speaking. What can I say, it's the VictoriaJ way!

Wow, hard to believe that this is our 300th post, it seems like its only been 3 years! Oh yeah ---it has. Continuing our annual tradition here is some flashbacks. For 2008 we have a brand new photo--- me in a tutu. Funny story behind that, Mommy said put on your pjs, but I musta still had water in my ears because I heard put on your play clothes. Anyhow, take care and see ya at 400!

A Blur of a Weekend
What a fun weekend! It started out with cards from both my Grandmas. Then I had a party at school and then I dressed up and went trick or treat all around our neighborhood. Aunt Breana played a trick on Mommy and hid her camera, but luckily Grandma got pictures, which she'll post later. The next day we went to the fair and I rode a pony. Silly Daddy forget the camera, though. And last but not least, we celebrated the birthday of Grandpa and cousin B. She was so nice and let me blow out one of her candles.

Cleaning Up My Own Messes

Hi, everyone! Here it is October already. I'm visiting Grandma & Grandpa S and Grandma made me a new dress--trouble is, it's a little big. She let me wear it, though, since orange is officially now my FAVORITE color! Wait till you see what I picked out for her to make for Halloween--but no peeking. It's a state secret.
Notice the two cups in front of me and the paper towel in my hand. I have ice water in my orange Shamu cup and an apple juice slushee in my Sonic cup. I even tried to drink both at the same time today. Does that make me a two fisted drinker? I bumped the orange cup and water spilled all over, but I'm a big girl now and I cleaned up my own mess.
Hugs and kisses to all.

1st day back at school
Well now that the Olympics are over and school has started up again, I finally have time to write. I sure loved the swimming, white water events, and the running. Basketball was good too. Mommy tried to get me interested in gymnastics and she even enrolled me in a class. It was OK doing the group stretches and running, but who wants to stand around waiting for one lousy turn on the balance beam? I guess I'm more of a team sports kind of gal.
School is pretty good so far. Ms. T is a hard act to follow, but Ms. P is going to be OK. I like all the neat building equipment in my new room. Or as I say "my 3 room". The dollhouse and dress-up are pretty neat too. Evidentially, I was the cause of a little bit of a rukus. 3 different girls wanted to be my buddy. I didn't say anything because who wants to take sides? Anyhow, one girl is my nap buddy (we don't sleep to often), one girl is my lunch buddy, and the last girl is my playground buddy. I'm glad that got worked out.
One last thing. I told Daddy today that I need a car. And when he asked what for, I said "to see Grandma." Later ya'll.

Water Weekend at Grandpa's
It's sure been hot around here lately. Not much rain to speak of and temperatures in the 90's. So what's a girl to do to cool off? Well, I'll just show you. It's always fun to visit Grandpa's house, but this time it was wet, too. Do you know about this thing called swimming? No, I didn't run through the sprinkler. I'm a little young for that yet, don't you think?
Contrary to popular belief, I really do like to swim. I just don't want to do it on command--right, Mom? I've been spending weekends at Grandpa's house and he and Grandma got me this really neat pool just my size. This is my first day in it. The water was a little chilly so I didn't stay in too long, but I like to wade in it and put my pink plate in it and watch it float. I really like my pool, but there's something even better at Grandpa's to swim in!
Ta-Da--now you know my secret. There's this great tub and it makes BUBBLES. Every girl loves a warm soak with bubbles, you know. My hippo and my rubber duck like to join me. They get to swim in circles when the bubble maker is on. Grandma says I could turn into a prune sometimes when I don't want to get out. I'm big enough that I can even climb in and out by myself if my stool is handy. Ah, the relaxing life!

An electrictrifying trip
Wow, we just got back from NJ and what a fun time we had. My Cousins and Uncles and Aunts and Grandma T. and Papi and that nice Granny Fran lady. There was ever so much to do-- like riding bikes, a pool to swim in, a trampoline to bounce on, and loads and loads of new toys. I tell you they even had a bathtub outside. Though I'm not sure why I had to wear a bathing suit to a bath...Anyways we are back now and while we miss everyone in NJ we sure will enjoy the Texas spring. What's that? Tomorrow's high will be 98? Oh well welcome to 6 months of blistering Texas summer.

Birthdays are G R E A T!
Howdy! I'm three and today we had a party with lots of people--two grandmas, one grandpa, two cousins, one aunt, one uncle and of course daddy, mommy and the sissies. I got to be the guest of honor, whatever that means. I think it means they let me eat first, they sing to me and I get some pretty cool presents.Oh, yes, I forgot to say that Elmo came and celebrated with me, too. I got an Elmo hat, Elmo cups, Elmo plates, Elmo videos, an Elmo couch and Baby Elmo.
We started with brunch. And that means I got bacon and fruit and bacon and eggs and bacon and biscuits and bacon and juice. My personal chef knows I love bacon. I even made up a song about it this week, but I digress.
Next we moved to the living room and guess what there was there--all kinds of presents. I am going to know my alphabet and Daddy and I are going to play with my new Legos. We love to build. I got food to cook with and bubbles to blow. Oh, I also got a backpack full of books and clothes.
Look at me sitting on my new sofa. I have my very own place to watch my favorite Elmo videos! I love looking at all of my Sesame Street friends and calling out their names. Did you know that this is not only a couch, but also a fold out bed? Wow! Maybe when I get tired I can go to sleep here--what do you think?
All in all, it's been quite a day. I think I like this birthday stuff.
