Eggcellent

Well welcome to another holiday edition of TMoOVM. Yesterday was Easter and oh what fun we had. First off we got to dye Easter eggs. When Daddy put the eggs out I went to grab one and eat it. How was I supposed to know we were dying them? Seemed like a perfectly good waste of egg to me. Next we went to church and I got to sing the OLLIE lulu's. It was quite fun. Then we came home and found eggs stuffed with candy all over the house, but Daddy wouldn't let me eat the tootsie rolls (I'll get you Daddy!) Next, Grandma made a HUGE meal with a roast beast as the centerpiece.

That was fine but I really liked the strawberries with fresh whipped cream. Then we got to play Daddy's wii. It's Daddy's new toy and I'm glad he is sharing it with the other kids. After that everybody had to go home :(

And can you believe it they left a perfectly good apple pie on the table, well I could not let it go to waste -- could I??

Whew it was a long day. After all that I just had to cuddle up with a good book and drift away to sleep.

It had to happen...

Yes, yes, yes it's Spring in Austin.
So that can mean only one thing, thousdands of Mommies and Daddies taking their kids out to get their picture taken in the bluebonnets.
For you Yankees out there -- HOW COULD YOU LOSE TO THE DEVIL RAYS?! --
I mean for all you Northerners, Bluebonnets are Texas wildflowers that grow by darn near every highway down here. It's a rite of passage to get your picture taken with them and the true sign of spring. Course with this weather you never know it. It was nippy and I had to wear a sweatshirt! HMPH you call this a Texas spring? Must have something to do with that Daylight Savings Time...

Daddy and me

This is the Daddy. He's kinda goofy, but I've decided he's pretty nice. Mommy used to do most of the meals, but now Daddy does it more. He also plays with me in the backyard and goes with me to my friend Hannah's so that we can blow bubbles. I also like the wrestling, I can take him two out of three. And don't forget the baths. All in all, I think I'll keep him.

Post for March 32nd

We apologize for the lack of story on the current post. We have run out of ideas and cute anedoctes and we will be discontinuing the text versions of our posts effective NOW!

Mehh!!!! Whats this??
A picture without a story?
My blog appears to be having
a technical difficulty or two.

Is this what my readers have come searching for? I think perhaps, just perhaps, Daddy and I need to talk. Remind him of what I call the "good ole days"when we used original stories to entertain our steadfast readers.

... Or maybe Daddy was playing an April Fools on everyone??

Somewhere over Texas

Somewhere over Texas, way down South, there is a land that I heard of, once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over Texas, skies are blue, and the dreams that I dare to dream, really will come true.

Someday I'll talk just loads, and be able to walk on the road, I'll have all I want to eat, yes including everything sweet, that's where I'll be.

Someday, I'll play with all the toys, and even hug some boys; I'll go out when I want, and I might just get an elephant, that's where I'll be.

For I'm VictoriaJ, that's me!

(Credit to Arlen-Harburg and Great Aunt Brenda for getting me the shoes.)

Another Brick in the wall...

17....18...19!!!!

A new VictoriaJ record!
I'd like to thank all those that got me here:
Grandma and Grandpa... who bought the blocks in the first place.
Britt, my training partner.
Ashlee for pushiong me that extra mile.
Daddy for his ever steadying hand.
And of course-- The Mommy (tm)--without whom None of this would be possible--- Cuz I wouldn't be possible :)
I told you I'd figure out what these blocks were good for.
The ceiling's the limit now, though I might have to get a ladder.

A Green Day

Well hello there!

I'm VictoriaJ and I'm here to report another thrilling adventure. Yesterday was St Paddy's day here in Texas. I'm not sure if you have this day where you are, but here in Texas it's a day where everyone wears grean and they play these loud instruments that Grandpa calls Bagpipes. I'm not sure if I like them, but I know I like the dancers that came with them (even if they were Scottish).

Anyways, Daddy, Mommy and I sure did appreciate Brit and Ash and Grandpa visiting; we also got the good news that the other Grandma and Grandma are coming in May. Oh boy it's going to get confusing.

I don't want to forget to wish Keira and Samuel Happy 2nd Bdays -- hope it was grand.

A New Friend in the Neighborhood

You may have heard that my bookclub pal has moved closer to me. What a day it was with Ms. Tellula B. First, we did our normal library songs/books and took our Mommies to lunch. After the naptime, we went to the park and then to pick up her Mommy's car. Then her Mommy and Daddy wanted some alone time, so she hung out at my house for a couple of hours. I just love to play with my friend. I'm even willing to share my toys (well most of them). And she only minds a little when I try to put her in a headlock.

Cousin P

Hey you guys! In cas you don't remember me I'm cousin Payton! I was featured with VictoriaJ way back in November http://victoriajmuller.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html

Well Victoria J asked me to cover for her while she prepares her big 200th post spectacular. I said "That's cool" I can use the opportunity to wish my mommy a Happy Birthday!!!" so here goes:

HAPPPPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! -- you may know her as Aunt Cindy.

Well that was fun. I hope all is well in Texas! And good luck on the big 200th Victoria!

Withdrawls

Oh look at me, I'm a mess. My hair is in shambles and I'm sittimg here on the floor! What could have brought me to such a low spot? MOMMY WITHDRAWLS. yes Yes, it' s barely been a day and a half since Mommy went to Baltimore but I am feeling some serious withdrawls. Now I know Daddy has been doing a fine job and having Grandpa here was a real traet. But there isn't any substitute for pure unrefined 100% Mommy. Now I know Mommy loves me and is coming back tomorrow. I don't know if I can make it 24 hours and 5 minutes to go. ohhhhh noooooo!!!
Don't fear Victoria is doing just fine. Daddy on the other hand....

The lost weeks

Many of you might be wondering why the blog was not updated for a week or so back in February. Some might even consider these "the lost weeks". Truth be told I was in the land of rugged ice and bitter cold better known as Nebraska. Here is a picture with Cousins Stephanie, Nathan, and baby Makayla! Notice the date....

Hmmm whats this?

A perfectly fine sandwhich that Mommy left on the table?

One of Daddy's famous Cheesesteaks going uneaten ... that can not be! If only I were a bit taller....

Hey wait a cotton-picking second. I CAN reach the table now.

Oh boy this "growing" thing is finally worth all the pains...

I can't believe I can finally reach the table! Now I can have all the food I want. They can no longer hide it from me. I will eat and everything! I am Queen Victoria! MWAH hahahahaha.
Hey wait what are you doing Daddy? no no Don't take that plate... Wha? What are you doing? You're putting the food on the Kitchen counter? But I'm not THAT tall yet.... owwwww :(

Blocks part 2

When we left last time we were wondering what to do with the blocks. Yes what to do indeed! We could try throwing them like Grandpa says, by I prefer up-close wrasslin. We could try and eat them, but they don't taste so good.....Whatever could we do?? Tune in next time for the thrilling conclusion.

Yeah Daddy this story is going nowhere lets wrap it up!

And so it begins

Hmm, What's this here? Seems to be a bag... lying on my floor no less. Whatever could be in here? Well, perhaps I should investigate .....

ohhhhh BLOCKS

Lots and lots of Blocks. A girl like me can have loads of fun with these. What sort of fun you ask? You'll just have to wait and see. SAME VictoriaJ Channel. SAME VictoriaJ time...

Daddy, I didn't get that joke. I don't think anyone born in this century got that joke :)

Nothing

Well hello readers. It's time once again to
hear another of VictoriaJ's misadventures. You see earlier today I was sitting in my chair when Daddy feed me some cereal. But it wasn't just ordi.... ahh who am I kidding it WAS just ordinany cereal. But there was this water cup, you see and it had.....
it had....
it had....

Well it just had water in it. And I drank it. Real fast.
Oh who am I kidding I got nothing, I tell ya NOTHING. Life has been BORING ever since I got back B-O-R-I-N-G! I just hope something happening soon because 21 months (almost) is just young to have writer's block.

PS I am finally drinking milk out of the fridge. Now granted it's vanilla soy milk, but hey it's a start.

The Scene of the Crime

OK, Who did this? I want names people! names! Look at this mess. Someone took all the dishes out of the cupboard and threw them all over the floor. What sort of devious mind could do such a thing? Don't you worry VictoriaJ is on the job. I won't rest a bit until I solve this mystery. Well maybe I'll take a nap or two, but you know what I mean. VictoriaJ will save the day.

Shhhh Don't tell Mommy or Daddy but it was me :)

What's going on here?

Ok things are pretty strange today. First off Daddy is home. But it's a Tuesday and he usually goes to the "work" place. But that's ok becuase he made me some French toast. Then he claimed he had to some ice off of his car, he said it was a lot. Somebody must have spilt a big drink to get that much ice all over his car. It wasn't me and I didn't spill any drinks (well maybe I did spill Mommy's but that was inside). Perhaps it was grandma, she always has those Route 44 drinks.

Anyhow, I looked outside and to my surprise everything was white! What's going on here? I just had to investigate. Mommy said OK but I had to bundle up.....

Ahhhh, I can't get my arms down! I can't get my arms down! Daddy help.

Ahhh that's better . Now what's all this white stuff doing in my backyard?? Its kinda crunchy, but slippery too. Daddy says it's snow. Hmmmm I suppose he would know. Its a good thing it only comes in little amounts, I can't imagine having inches of the stuff. Still, it might be nice to make a snowman :)

Anyway Grandma's jacket is great, but it isn't meant for Arctic exploring. I'm going inside. Till next time. Stay warm and dry kids and see ya from VictoriaJ.

My First Haircut

Grandma S and Mommy took me for a car ride the other day, and guess where we went--a place called a beauty salon. Now folks, I'm already beautiful, but right now I have this black eye (a story Mommy and Daddy can tell), so maybe it wasn't such a bad idea. Anyway, Grandma sat in this chair and got her hair cut and then Mommy sat in the chair and got her hair cut. I thought we'd leave then, but no, it was time for my very first haircut. Look over on the left and see the "Before Haircut" version of my hair. It was a little scraggly in the back, I will admit.

First of all, the lady got this squirter bottle that, under other circumstances, might be a fun thing to explore. Mommy said it was just water, but they sprayed my hair. Let me tell you, it was cold. They tried to make it up by giving me a sucker, but I'm not one and although I held on to it for dear life, I am ambidexterous, after all, and can move it from one fist to another to defend my hair's honor. I digress. Next they brought out these scissors that are really, really cold. . .especially on a wet head and neck. I decided it wasn't something I really wanted to do, but Mommy held my hands and the back got done.

BTW, if you want to see the remains of my black cheek and eye, click on the second picture so it gets bigger.

I got a little smarter with the sides, so the finished product isn't quite as cute as the back, but needless to say I survived my first haircut. You can see how stylish the back looks now.

Mommy told the nice lady that she'd be back in a month or two, but I don't have to get another haircut until my birthday--wait a minute. Birthday? I already had one of those, didn't I? I remember a cake and presents and. . .oh, I guess I can have another.

Black N White?

Black and White? Daddy this is the 21st century whats going on? Ohhhh you don't know how to use the redeye setting... I see. Anyway we had a visit with some friends last night. Check out Emily, Austin, Landon and me hanging out on the couch . We ate loads of friend chicken and Auntie Marta made the kids do silly walks. It sure was fun. I hope to see them all again soon. Hopefully then Daddy can figure the camera out.

Another Day at SeaWorld

You know our Texas weather stays pretty good most of the year. Well, the last weekend in December most of the family decided to pile in cars and head to San Antonio for another day of fun at Sea World. That place has so much to do we didn't get to do it all when we went earlier, so away we went.

First we got to have our pictures taken with some of our Sea World friends--that is those of us who aren't camera shy or taking the pictures. They were really just a preview of what was ahead of us!

First we went to the show that featured the sea lions, a walrus and a sea otter. They put on the funniest show you've ever seen! There was a mystery and the people actors and the animals all got to swim and swim and swim. Pretty cool.

Next I got to do some climbing. Now for those of you who haven't gotten to see me much lately, climbing is now my new favoriate game. I can even climb into tubes, like the one on the right. Momma got on one end and Grandma S got on the other with her camera and I just climbed and crawled around the tube and it was so neat!

Right close to this was the big bouncy area where the floor bounces and there are these great big blocks. The first time I
went in Mommy went with me, but the next time Daddy was there and he chased me. I ran as fast as I could to get away, but low and behold, when I got the edge we both were trapped! I shouted to Mommy and Grandma S to get me out of here!

We got to visit the sharks this time. There were fish and seahorses and manta rays and lots of other things to see as we wheeled through the exhibit. There was some really pretty stuff they called coral, too.

I finally persuaded everyone to get a snack. The chicken nuggets and the fries are pretty good there.

Next we went to see another whale show that had dolphins and water acrobatics. I think I fell in love with a new thing I can do when I get older. Playing in the water by hitching rides on the beluga whales or playing with the dolphins sure looks like fun to me. The people who got to dive and jump from the platforms looked pretty cool, too. After we left there I got back in the stroller so the girls could ride the Shamu roller coaster again and lo and behold, my eyes just wouldn't stay open long enough to do anything, so I conked out. I'm told Mommy and Daddy snuck off to ride the roller coaster while I was out, but you couldn't have proved it by me. All in all, a great day was had by all. And you won't believe the best part, cousins, there's still more of this place we haven't seen yet. When the weather is warmer there's all these places that have water rides and wave machines and lots of other stuff. I think you need to visit us next summer and we can all have a great time!

Christmas Eve

Whew, this Christmas stuff sure is fun, but it leaves a girl tired, too! It all started on the 24th when Daddy started cooking and cooking and cooking. I didn't know it, but Grandma S was doing the same thing at her house. When I was down for my early (not the long winter's one) nap, everyone came to our house and we ate and ate and ate. Those crab cakes and pigs in blanket and the crab legs and all the other stuff were really, really good.

Next we changed clothes and went off to church. As you can see, I'm adorable in the pretty dress Grandpa M got me. The bow was particularly inviting and I just had to taste it to see if it was as good as it looked. In church we sang these thing called Christmas carols. It was really crowded and I decided I needed a break and figured Mom and Dad could as well, so they had to do a major diaper change that had all the other parents in the nursery really smiling, or was it laughing, at them. Anyway, we made it back to the sanctuary for the candle lighting. Wow, was that really something. Can you imagine a church full of people with candles singing Silent Night? It was awesome.

After church we went back to our house and opened our Christmas crackers--no, not the kind you eat. These are paper pieces you pull apart and they have noisemakers and tissue paper crowns inside. That was sure fun! I even wore my crown and pulled off other people's to play with. Next we opened one gift each. I sort of got lucky because my rocking chair couldn't be wrapped, so I got two. Get a load of the chair, folks. Grandma S said she had to get it for both Daddy and me--Hook Em Horns! Anyway, I really like to climb in and out of it. I even like to sit in it in front of the TV when it isn't on so I can see myself and smile a lot in the screen. I'm on TV then! After playing for a while, we all decided we'd best go to sleep so the jolly old elf could visit. I got my jammies on and went down for the long winter's nap. More later on the big day itself.

Just another Bath photo

What's better than playing with bubbles? A whole entire bubblebath! Yup that's right I took my first Bbath tonight. It wasn't planned or anything, I just accidently knocked Mommy's shampoo in the tub. It was the little one Daddy got at the Mandaly Bay. I'm sure he'd be happy to go back and get her some more. Afterall, now that I have had the Bbath I can't go back to regular bath. I can't and I won't!

In other news Christmas pics will be coming shortly... right Grandma?

Well let me tell you I had a long a word with him. Well a scream or two at least. I mean with that beard and red clothes naturally he scared me! Who wouldn't be? Still I've been a very good girl (mostly). So Santa c'mon on down that chimney You know the address.
