Yesterday we celebrated my Uncle Matthew's birthday. He just told everyone he wanted sausage, so Daddy fired up the grill and cooked brats and kibasa and some type of German sausage. The best part wasn't the meat, though. Have you ever heard of this stuff called meringue? Wow! Instead of a birthday cake with frosting, we had cheesecake and a Boston creme pie that was topped with the stuff. It was ever so delicious. I just kept wanting more and more and more. It sure made me smile. Mommy had to eat a second piece to get her share. She didn't give me the bottom layer, but the merigue was wonderful. I was such a good girl I even cleaned up after myself.
